You invite the people you want in your Wakeupsales account and the permissions they have. Our team does not have any access to your account dashboard. On rare occasions, it may be that we can better assist in investigating a problem of yours, if we can access some portion of your data in readable form. We would always ask your permission before doing so and the process requires authorization & co-ordination across multiple personnel and security layers internally.
Our systems automatically replicate your data across multiple locations in real-time to maximize availability. In addition, data is further backed up hourly to ensure we can restore access to your data and the service in the unlikely event of all our locations suffer complete failure. Our monitoring alerts us to any trouble and we have staff on-call at working hours (IST) to quickly resolve unexpected incidents.
We update Wakeupsales frequently & if you're on Wakeupsales cloud, you’ll always be on the latest version. We monitor security advisories and other security community output closely. We work promptly to upgrade the service to respond to potential new threats and vulnerabilities as & when they are discovered. We also work with certified independent specialists on a regular basis to undertake systems penetration testing and source code reviews.
Credentials such as passwords and API keys are strongly encrypted. We maintain PCI-DSS certification for payment collection & do not store any credit cards info in any form on our systems. We use Braintree payment gateway for all our payments, & you may want to refer to their website (https://www.braintreepayments.com/) to know more on data storage.
